Elderly prisoner of conscience and retired university professor Mohammad Hossein Rafiee has been released from Evin Prison. Rafiee was was sentenced by Judge Salavati to six years in prison on May 25, 2015 for his peaceful political activism.
Endangered Scholars Worldwide welcomes this news with great relief and calls for the protection and security of Rafiee following his release.
